Team photos, individual portraits, action sports photography or presentation night, this is the place to get it sorted. Based on the Sunshine Coast, we photograph clubs across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and all of Queensland, including rugby league, rugby union, football, touch football, Oztag and gymnastics clubs.

How it works, start to finish.

Four steps, and we take on the parts that usually eat up a committee's time. Here is what a season with Media Queensland looks like for your club.

Step one
Book

Pick your date, sign the agreement, and send us your player and staff details on our simple spreadsheet. Scheduling is sorted from there. That is your admin finished.

Step two
Shoot

We photograph the team, then every player individually. A team of around 28 takes 15 minutes. Most clubs are done in one to two sessions, so less training time missed.

Step three
Develop

Every image is retouched in house at our Coolum Beach studio, then built into your team photos, trading cards and products with your club colours and sponsor logos in place.

Step four
Deliver

Your gallery opens two to three weeks after the shoot. Families order online and orders come back to the club in one delivery, or go direct to their door.

Club sponsorship

Club sponsorship from $250. Not a rebate.

A rebate leaves your treasurer waiting on a percentage of sales nobody at the club can see. We would rather give you a number. We agree a sponsorship payment with your club before photo day and we pay it, whatever the orders do. It starts at $250 and scales with your player numbers. No percentages, no season-end reconciliation, no grey area.

Every club also receives two free team photographs per team for its coaches or committee.

We are a new club interested in your photography. What should we do?
Send us an enquiry using the form on this page, or call 1300 368 663. Tell us your sport, roughly how many teams you have and when your season runs, and we will come back with options.
We are an existing club and need to change our photo day date. What should we do?
Get in touch as early as you can with your club name and the new date you have in mind. Rescheduling to a new agreed date is free where we have reasonable notice and can staff the new date. A change requested inside 7 days of photo day may attract a fee of up to $500 where photographers have been booked and cannot be redeployed. Weather reschedules carry no charge.
What do you offer beyond team photos?

How does photo day actually run?
We build the run sheet with you and allow 15 minutes per team, so a team of around 28 is done in about 15 minutes. We arrive 90 minutes before the first team starts to set up, so the club just needs to clear the space and have a coordinator for each team keep the line moving. Nothing is sold or collected on the day, so your volunteers never handle money.
What should we tell our members before photo day?
Give families four to six weeks notice with the date, their time slot, what kit to wear and hair and boots sorted, then send a reminder as the day gets closer. Tell them nothing is paid on photo day and ordering opens online two to three weeks later. Send ordering questions to wecare@mediaqueensland.com so your committee never has to answer them. We give you a template notice.
How long until our photos are delivered?
Your webshop opens two to three weeks after photo day and stays open for a full year. Orders are posted two to four days after they are placed. You can choose club delivery, where orders arrive packaged per player and grouped by team with postage covered by us, or delivery direct to family homes.
How do families order and pay?
Families order online at orders.mediaqueensland.com using the access key we provide. The club does not handle any money.
Can we get a copy of the team photos for club use?
Every club receives two free team photographs per team, for the coach and the clubhouse wall. Clubs also receive a separate licence covering their own newsletters, websites and social media, set out in the agreement with us.
Some of our players were away. Can they still be photographed?
We record who is absent and send your club an absent report after photo day. A catch-up session goes ahead only where the club organises one, and it covers individual portraits only. Team photos are not re-shot, but we can discuss a composite or digital insert for an absent player, with any charge agreed with the club in advance.
